Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT)

Dynamic interpersonal therapy (DIT) is a time-limited, structured psychotherapy based on psychodynamic principles. It is designed to help individuals identify and manage their reactions to relational patterns that can be traced back to their childhood. During the sessions, the therapist will provide support and help the client understand their emotions and thoughts. Together, they will develop a plan to make positive changes in the client's life.

This type of therapy is often used to treat issues related to anxiety and depression, which are seen as relational problems. The core concept is that when a person learns to handle relationship issues better, their mental health will improve. DIT typically involves a minimum of 20 sessions and is recommended for people who suffer from chronic depression or relationship issues.
